1:10 p.m.: The 5A team race is now a draw with the end of the consolation round and the boys’ fifth place matches underway. Pomona trailed first place Ponderosa by 37.5 points (199-161.5) entering the championship on Saturday. But the Panthers now lead the Mustangs by a slim margin: 224.5 to 214. Ponderosa will have the advantage in the finals tonight with seven wrestlers competing for the state championships. Pomona sent four wrestlers to the final. It should be a tight end. —Kyle Frederickson

10am: Consolation rounds are underway at Ball Arena, with action continuing until 3 p.m. until everything is settled for the Parade of Champions at 5:30 p.m. Medals will be won today and champions crowned, and we’ll be there to cover it all.

In case you missed it, we got plenty of coverage from Day 2. The Post’s Kyle Fredrickson checked in with freshman Ponderosa coach Jairon Beets, who has his Mustangs on a wrestling redemption tour. ‘State. Sean Keeler told the story about Chatfield’s mother-daughter team. And Kyle Newman dug several stories into Friday night’s prep notebook.
